These days it seems you can't move for smoothies they seem to be everywhere - the lazy way to five a day. Smoothies as mashed fruit are an instant sugar hit so to make a smoothie a little more of sustainable nutrient source add a teaspoon of hemp protein to lower the GI/GL.
